The environment Centre is hosting an evening with Dr. Mark Diesendorf this Thursday at the Darwin Railway Club to talk Smart Energy Solutions for a Sustainable Territory.

Join us for a lively and inspiring night with Dr. Diesendorf, author of ‘Sustainable Energy Solutions for Climate Change’ and a panel of local speaker’s. Followed by an informal forum discussion and local music.

$5 for ECNT members  &  $10 Non- members.

Earth Hour 2015

Saturday, 28 March 2015 at 9:30 pm

In a cooperative effort to raise environmental awareness and funds for the Environment Centre NT, Darwin’s Hilton hotel will be holding an event this Saturday 28th March for Earth Hour.
The money raised will be used for the Environment Centre’s
Safe Climate Campaign.

The Hilton team will put on an Earth Hour inspired menu of which 50% of the cost you pay for dinner will go directly to the Environment Centre! Please join the Environment Centre Staff and Board team this Saturday evening at the Hilton and help us keep our Safe Climate Campaign alive.
Can’t make dinner? We are also looking for members and supporters to join the cycling team to help us cycle 365km a feature of the Hilton’s event.  Call ECNT to find out more (08) 89811984.  Or come along to an Earth Hour inspired cocktail reception from 8.30 till 9.30.
Earth Hour started in 2007 as a lights-off event to raise awareness about climate change. It has grown to engage more than 162 countries and territories worldwide.
